What You Need To Know
Purchasing your new home from Quin’s is all about choice. We know you’ll find something to suit your individual needs. With all our homes we provide everything necessary to complete your home to the stage you order, right down to the nails, fixtures, fittings and glue.
Added benefits of buying a Quin home…
- We’ve grown our business over 60 years because of our quality and value. We’d rather build these features into our homes and baches as standard because that way we can offer you the very best affordable homes.
- All our homes with wooden floors come with stainless steel sub-floor connections as standard. (Buildings shown with internal garaging will only be set out on concrete floors – which are excluded in the pricing.)
- Optional decks and verandahs are available with many of our house designs.
Cladding Options
Quin standard pricing starts with MagnaFlow vertical corrugated iron wall cladding which is backed by a 15 year manufacturers warranty. Other options available upon request.
The Building Process
When you buy a Quin kitset we will help you understand the simple building process required to complete your home. We will provide you with your kitset home delivered to your site and to the high standard and specifications that you order; you take over from there.
Site works and engaging a builder are your responsibility and perhaps a plumber and electrician (although the builder may do that for you.) Building consents are also in your care, but bear in mind that we will provide you with comprehensive plans and specifications to make the process as easy as possible.
Alternatively, if you reside in the Hawkes Bay or Horowhenua areas, Quins offer the complete building package with the ability to project manage the entire progress, from sign up to move in.
Easy to Erect
Your Quin kitset home is designed to NZ Building Standards and any certified builder will be familiar with these practices; this makes the erection of your Quin home straight forward and cost efficient.
